Hello everyone! sorry if i caused any hurt feelings T.T i can't continue to hold the gathering if less than 10 ppl can make it... (only me, sally, kele, marcus and jinwee???) and more importantly, i think my second half of december holidays is void off totally for next year's orientation prep for the incoming year 1s plus the piling homework!

Bet everyone can't make it for the same reason! Keep in touch, k? Since the blog is always so dead, i'm opening it for people to write their own stuff or share their own school experience, problems, gang fights and school work??? Year end is coming and we are planning our 4th class gathering!!!

Previously, we have thought about going to the Japanese Buffet Restaurant at Tampines Sports Hall. However, we have some complications, such as:

we don't know whether the food is halal (Hafiz)
there's very little vegetarian food (Zhiwei)
our guest appearance dont like seafood (Jonathan Oh)

Ya... you've seen it! we are inviting Jonathan with us :D:D:D:D:D i was thinking since this type of gathering isn't for everyone, so maybe we have to drop it. This is the new plan for the class gathering i have just thought:

go to Bugis and talk over lunch (nth stressful since the foodcourt CAN CATER TO EVERYONE) (1.5 hours??? please talk and bond during the activity... that's the reason for a class gathering)
MYSTERIOUS PROGRAMME (LEVEL: VERY CHALLENGING :D MUHAHAHAHA) please bring $2 or slightly more for this activity (1 hour) **
FREE AND EASY (most prob we go to the movies. BUT I SAID FREE AND EASY, you can go SHOPPING, GO BUGIS STREET, GO PLAY ARCADE, GO SOMEONE'S HOUSE... but the end result is that you MUST have fun and you MUST bond with other ppl!!!) (time: depends)

**Please do not overlook the challenginess of this game!!! IT WILL MAKE YOU HATE SHOPPING (hint hint)

I chanced upon YouTube recently and saw the video of our class, and I am so pleased to be reminded of all of you again. In fact I still talk about all of you very fondly. It has been more than 7 months that you have left the primary school and I'm wondering if you are doing fine. The class gathering in June was a good catch-up time, thank you for organising it.

Last year, some of you came with me for the Take the City Walk at Padang, and I'm glad to let you know that this year I'll be walking again, for charity. And I'll like to invite all of you to join me in the walk, follow by a time of games with some youths I'm mentoring. It will be a good time to exercise as well as for us to catch-up too.

I'm sorry to say that the class t-shirt has been cancelled. All orders has been cancelled due to the fact that it is very expensive and not many people are buying.

There will not be any class t-shirt. Sorry again.

P.S. We've done our best putting a great deal into this class t-shirt but it isn't working out at all. We've tried our best. Okay 6Peace'06 peeps, here's the design I proposed for the class t-shirt. Hope you like it!

The front and back of the t-shirt. :) The back of the t-shirt is a verse from the Bible on peace and harmony, "Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble."

I know it's plain, simply black and white but it looks good! Somehow, it's an improvised version of Nicho's design.

Please comment and suggest on improvements. We're still in the process of designing and we hope to submit the design by Wednesday, 6 June 2007.

Also, if you wish to buy the class t-shirt, please tell Hafiz. You may contact him at 8161 8594.

the weather was O.K. at first. i initially planned to reach GMS(P) at 4.15... but guess what? im at home doing homework! yup last year was the same too. those who went there last year and this year, do you find the weather eerily similar? do you find me late again? do you find me late at the time when the whole thing was starting? an odd coincidence you will say. that's what i thought too... at least i got saluted by those GBs and BBs...hahaha... guess how many times they saluted to me when i ran my way up and down the stairway for three times trying to find that gown! i bet the VIP mr chou also never got the chance to get saluted that many times! hahaha...

the prizegiving was very fun too! i had a whale of a time and i pretty much guessed that i ruined the whole ceremony with my distinct laughter... the handshake with mr chou was significant too, (psst...i forgot to say his name when i was shaking his hand, and after getting the certificate i was beginning to get butterflies in my stomach when i stood in front of the whole hall..i guess they were finding out who's that little imp who destroyed their almost perfect thanksgiving ceremony)

and most of all i want to dedicate this journal to all 6peace06 and especially to GOD who gave me the chance to visit his holy ground and i knew God gave his word through mrs cheng to all of us. HALLELUJAH!

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings each morning, thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes tightly closed against the morning light as long as possible, thank you Lord, that I can see. There are many who are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off the effort of rising, thank you, Lord that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned, and tempers are short, thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you, Lord for the food we have. There are many who have no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you, Lord, for the gift of life.

Amen.

Thanksgiving

On Friday, 27 April 2007, a fortunate few went back to primary school. Intially, everyone thought it was going to be a happy ending, but after much thought, our ending ended in jeopardy...

The school song changed, the school crest changed, mrs cheng's sitting position in the staff room changed, the atmosphere in the canteen also changed from last year's... everything changed! BUT there is one thing that never changed and that's the chirpiness of 6Peace2006 and the love and sorrows we shared! We even changed the solemn session into a cheerful ceremony! Unfortunately, it brought along many stares from people around us.

Anyway, we talked to Mrs Cheng and she told us to do our best and to believe in ourselves and not to follow the wrong route. That means we should do the correct thing and not to go into little detours in our road of life. She also said she miss our batch of primary six. She hopes that we will all be great leaders in the near future.
